Unless you have a lot of time on your hands and are relatively computer
savvy, a Vista Upgrade is going to mess with your “fine-tuned” XP machine -
especially if it’s a couple of years old or more - and cost you a whole
bunch of time and frustration. (what “upgrade didn’t?).

I’d recommend purchasing Windows Vista on a new PC or Laptop and starting
from there - along with the non-requisite 2007 Software and, of course,
Vista Compatible Printer/Scanner/All-in-one - whatever.

Heck, for the price of a Laptop or Notebook these days you could buy two for
the amount of time and frustration you’ll save yourself through not
upgrading and finding software apps that don’t function - quite right - and
checking to see if Intel, HP, Dell, nVidia, Intuit, Adobe etc., etc., all
have their drivers released - oh, and working too.

To reiterate the caution again. Buy the new PC or Laptop when you decide to
make the Vista move…. Please do not upgrade.

You’ll be glad you did.
